Time for the 8th annual Taste of Douglas County. It will be held at the Douglas County Events Center on Plum Creek Parkway (Exit 181) just east of I-25 from 5-8 PM. This is an indoor facility, so there are no weather concerns. Every year restaurants and other food service establishments provide food to ticket holders so folks can sample and enjoy food from the county's finest. Castle Rock - Sunday, August 22
Time for the 8th annual Castle Rock Fling 5 Mile Run/5K run/walk. This starts and finishes at the Douglas County Events Center at 8PM. The course is flat which makes for some good times. Running Wild Running Store is very involved in the event and always brings plenty of prizes. Many restaurant gift certificates are also awarded and there are age group prizes as well.
