Calendar of Events - August 2010

Castle Rock -Saturday, August 7 -
OK, follow along. I will be doing my show from 10AM-1PM from the roof of the 1st Bank at the corner of Plum Creek Parkway and Wilcox Street in Castle Rock. Why? Because that is when the annual Douglas County Fair parade kicks off the fair. But.....you can enjoy a Boyle Lunch Bunch at the Garden Cafe Chinese Restaurant, 1580 Space Center Drive across from the Wal-Mart at South Powers and Palmer Park. I don't want you to miss out on a great meal and a great deal. So, even though I will be in Castle Rock, you can go to the Garden Cafe and enjoy, dine in or take out, wonderful Chinese food for only $1 a scoop (regular price is $1.75 a scoop). These are huge scoops, and the food is delicious. Sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, and much more including soups and appetizers. Hours of the special will be 11AM-1PM. Or, you can come to the parade for an hour or two and then head back and enjoy the special.

Aurora - Saturday, August 7
Join me at the Armadillo Mexican Restaurant at 15001 East Mississippi (at Chambers) from 4-8PM and enjoy dinner for two for only $7.10 ($3.55 single). This dine in promotion will feature any two item combination platter with beans and rice. Choose from tacos, burritos, enchiladas, tostadas, and rellenos. Start with chips and salsa. I will be there broadcasting from 3-5PM. Plenty of free parking, and of course, they have plenty of margaritas for you to enjoy.

Colorado Springs - Saturday, August 14
Time for our third installment of the Louie's Pizza 25th Anniversary celebration. Join me for a Boyle Lunch Bunch from 10:30AM-1:30PM. This dine in, take out promotion will offer any large one topping pizza for only $5.99. Each additional topping is only 25 cents each. That's a steal. Also, Louie's will offer their garlic bread for only 25 cents, and you can get their salad for only 25 cents. Louie's will also be giving away 25 gift certificates worth $25 each. All you have to do is stop by any of the five Louie's locations and register. I will be broadcasting from 10AM-1PM from the Louie's at Barnes and Oro Blanco. Other locations include downtown on Tejon at Boulder, Briargate Boulevard at Union, Fillmore near Hancock, and Powers and Stetson Hills. Louie's Pizza has been around for 25 years, so you know it's good. Get as many as you want.

Lone Tree/Meridian - Saturday, August 14
The Great Beginnings Cafe at Lincoln and Oswego (Just east of I-25) has begun serving dinners on Friday and Saturday evenings.  They would like a nice group of Boyle show listeners to give the new evening menu a try.  I will broadcast from 3-5PM and from 4-8PM everybody's welcome to come and enjoy dinner on a two-for-one basis.   That's right, open menu.  Steaks, seafood, chicken items and more.  Big portions, good comfort food.  The Great Beginnings also now has a liquor license so you can enjoy a cold Coors Light or a glass of wine.  This is a dine in promotion.  Plenty of free parking.  Phone: 303-649-1198.  Hope to see you there.  This place has done wonderful breakfasts and lunches for over twelve years, so you know it's good.

Colorado Springs - Saturday, August 28
For over 16 years Rudy and Rebecca had Rudy's Little Hideaway on South Nevada. They recently took over the space at 945 South 8th Street (the old Zeb's), did a nice remodel, and opened. They will be offering a Boyle Lunch Bunch from 10:30AM-1:30PM when you can enjoy three of their most popular dishes for only $3.99 each. Each of these items has a regular price of about $8, so you will get each for a little less than half price. Wow! Choose from their gigantic smothered burrito, the pork green chili, and the enchilada platter. I will be there broadcasting during this dine in promotion, so see you there.
