Jimmy Lambatos has been around Denver for a long
time. He owned Footer's Catering for over 25 years and helped
start the Quizno's sandwich chain (many of you may even remember
him as the absent minded guy in the Quizno's Super Bowl commercials
who was so focused on creating good sandwiches that he forgot
to put on his pants). He has now turned his attention to Ivy
at the Glenn, a wonderful restaurant located in the Streets
at Southglenn. Jimmy is going to be offering his 10-ounce (that's
huge) lean, delicious hamburger with side, a $12 regular price,
for only $7.10. This is a dine in promotion. He has a beautiful
place doing a lot of Saturday night dinner business, but wants
you to come by and meet him and try the food. This is a great
burger. He doesn't usually serve this in the evenings, but I talked
him into it. Special will run from 4-7PM.

Eric Patton at Keva Juice always likes to help
us get through the winter with one of his 35 different smoothies.
From 10:30AM-1:30PM, you can enjoy any regular smoothie, regular
price over $4, for only $2. Choose from strawberry, mango, orange,
blueberry, raspberry, banana, and many more. May I suggest you
try "the Boyle," an orangesicle type
drink that Eric and I invented. They have been selling like crazy.
The event will be at the Keva Juice on North Nevada at
the University Village shopping center. Bring the family.
Get as many as you like. Enjoy your smoothie
at the store or take it home. Your choice. The show will air from
10AM-1PM.

I just got back from taking a group of listeners to Jamaica, AND
WE HAD A BALL. Great place with GREAT FOOD. Since the trip is
over, and since many of you didn't get a chance to join us, then
join me for a Boyle Lunch Bunch of Jamaican food at the Spice
Island Grill, 10 South Sierra Madre just south of Bijou and east
of I-25 (near the old Guiseppe's). Easily reached from all parts
of the city. I will be there broadcasting from 10AM-1PM and the
special will run from 10:30AM-1:30PM. Choose from the jerk chicken
plate or the jerk pork plate, each with beans, rice, and plaintains,
for only $5.99 each. These are the two most popular dishes in
the country. You will love either one. Enjoy a cold Red Stripe
(it's a great lager beer from the island) or a rum punch. The
music will be great. No, Jamaican is not hot, but it sure is favorful.
Plenty of free parking. Check out the place at www.spiceislandgrill.com
See you there.

I know that I don't usually schedule a repeat
event at a restaurant quite so soon after the first, but join
me at Ralph's Maid-Rite at 7470 South University at Dry Creek
(in the Albertson's and AAA Auto shopping center, the northeast
corner). Any of the baskets, the Iowa loose meat, the pork tenderloin,
any of them, each with fries and a fountain drink, will be TWO-for-ONE
from 3-7PM, dine in or take out. Maid-Rite also has fabulous broaster
chicken and all of the two piece, three piece, whatever buckets
will be on a two-for-one basis also. The place also has a full
service bar and will be offering Coors Light or Pabst Blue Ribbon
drafts for only $2 each. All of these deals are terrific. I will
be there broadcasting from 3-5PM and then greeting and seating.
It got busy last time, people loved it, so come a little early.
The owner is Dewey Burton, who named it after his father. Call
him at 303-694-6911 or visit www.ralphsmaidrite.com
