Denver Tech Center - THURSDAY,
September 11
I will be hosting a complimentary cocktail reception and buffet for Warren
Baker, president of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, from 5:30-7:30 PM at the
PanAsia Bistro, 10520 El Diente Court just east of I-25 at Lincoln. He will
be in town to reconnect with alumni and families and friends of the
university. If you are, or know, people who fall into one of those
categories, please contact me at 303-903-0017. We would love to have them
join us. This will be an informal, casual affair, a meet and greet, a chance
to catch up on this fine university. It will be held in a beautiful, private
upstairs area with good, but limited seating, so contact me soon.

You know I am always looking for something different for us to
do, and this event certainly qualifies. Join me at
The Chairman, 1740 South Broadway (about a mile
south of I-25 on the east side of the street). I will
broadcast from 3-5 PM, and from 3-6 PM we will be
offering you a complimentary (that means FREE) buffet of
heavy appetizers, munchies, and beverages. The Chairman
is a.......chair store. If you have lived in Denver for
awhile, and had a meal at a restaurant, there is a very
good chance you have sat in a chair from The Chairman.
Not only does Steve Farland, the owner, supply
restaurants, but he has a booming retail business for
home and office sales. It is a fascinating place, so
come by.
Colorado Springs - Saturday,
September 27
Visit the Firestone Tire Store at the Chapel Hills Mall,
and enjoy tremendous savings on tires, mounting, alignments, lube, oil, and
filter certificates, and more. I will broadcast from 11 AM-1 PM, and there
will be plenty of FREE food from area restaurants. Last year we had
smoothies from Keva Juice, bagels from Einstein's, sandwiches from Jason's
Deli, and much more. This will be a good time to get a great deal on those
snow tires you will need for the upcoming winter.
