June 21, 2024Jack Carr, former Navy SEAL, after serving his country with honor, set his sights on turning out political thriller books that jump right out of today's headlines. His latest, Red Sky Mourning, is set for release June 18th. As part of the nationwide rollout, Jack will be in town and appearing in Lone Tree at the DCSD Legacy Campus. Other listeners who have attended his tour events, met him, say that it is something to remember. I plan to be there, and hope you will too. Bobby and Christina, the owners, are offering TEN of their most popular dishes, and there are many, for 50% off, half price. My advice? Come and have lunch, take a different dish home for dinner. A couple of choices include the grinder sandwich (I've had it, and it is terrific), the Italian, the Popeye (chicken breast with bacon) sandwiches, fettuccine Alfredo and lasagna. June 23, 2024Got a call from the Papa John's people. They would like to promote, push, their Monument location. So we will be offering large one topping pizzas for only $5.95, dine in or take out. Get as many as you like. We used to work with PJ's years ago when they first came into the market, always enjoyed working with them, but some personnel changes caused that to change. But a long time restaurant guy I know, great guy, took over the Colorado Springs, El Paso county market, and asked if we could do an event. So......game on. Yes, I'll be there broadcasting from 10AM-Noon. Special runs from 10:30AM-1:30PM. Hope to see you.
