April 3, 2024 – April 10, 2024If you have listened to the shows, you know that I have changed my Mexico group trip philosophy a bit. Use United Airlines non stop flights. That hasn't changed. Assigned seats, good service. Use Amstar for transfers and excursions. Best company, no change there. Staying at beach front RIU Palace all inclusive properties. Nope, nothing new there. What has changed is that we are going back to a RIU property that we have visited before. The RIU Palace Kukulkan is such an exceptional ADULT ONLY property, so many of our recent group trip members that went with us to that resort loved it, that I have decided to go again in April. PRICE, as I write this, is FABULOUS. All that's required is a deposit to hold your reservation and price. Contact Warren Erbsen, travel agent for the show, to reserve.
NOTE: Yes, I will be taking baseball equipment again to help start youth baseball programs in Mayan villages on the Yucatan. If you can help me by supplying good condition used baseball equipment - bats, balls, gloves - please let me know. My cell is 303-903-0017. Thank you.

April 13, 2024Spring is here, Summer is on the way, let's get some "Q." Please join me at Dickey's, the Interquest location, for full racks of their delicious ribs for only $15 each (regular price $30). Half rack for $8, sandwiches for only $5 each. Dine in or take out. Let Dickey's handle the slow smoking, using their big smokers. I'll be there broadcasting from 10AM-1PM and the specials will run from 11AM-1:30PM. This is our 12th year of working with Dickey's, so you know they do a great job and that listeners love the Q and the deals.

April 14, 2024That's right, a first time event with Cuba, Cuba in Castle Rock. Owner Kristy Socarras and Executive Chef Andrea Elledge have put together great specials, including MY favorite, Vaca Frita, classic mojo marinated flank steak with sauteed onions, white rice, black beans and sweet plantains. Also offering the roasted pork dish, a vegetarian dish, and a beef dish, all complete meals. Each offering will be half price. A nice way to enjoy a Sunday mid day meal. Dine in or take out.
